Welcome To AIC

The Austrian-Indonesian Centre for Computational Chemistry (AIC) has been established at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in Yogyakarta / Indonesia in 1997 as a joint project with the Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck / Austria within the framework of the Austrian-South East Asian University Partnership Network (ASEA-UNINET).
AIC is linked to partner institutions in Austria, Indonesia and Thailand by Internet and cooperates closely with the Department of Theoretical Chemistry, University of Innsbruck, and the Austrian-Thai Centre for Computer Chemistry (ATC) at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, providing state-of-the-art facilities for education and research in chemistry and related fields.
Theoretical and computational chemistry courses are offered for students, and special training is provided for staff members of all Indonesian universities and chemists working in industry in order to upgrade their knowledge to the most modern level of molecular modelling, quantum chemical methods and computer simulations.
